Jonah Sublette (he/him) is a Los Angeles–based film editor specializing in documentary and commercial storytelling. His work includes brand campaigns for Netflix, Levi’s, Alo, and the WNBA, as well as projects with artists including John Legend, Masego, and Meshell Ndegeocello. Most recently, Jonah edited a 30-minute sports documentary for Chris Hemsworth’s production company, Wild State. He also edited the feature documentary Mama!, now available on Amazon and Apple TV. In addition to editing, Jonah directs short documentaries; his latest film, Burl, screened at the 2023 Austin Film Festival.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Jonah holds a BFA in Film Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder. When he’s not working, he seeks out small-to-medium-sized waves for surfing and experimental jazz for inspiration.
